Some new Foley Hoag lawyers appear in the BTU vs Betancourt docket: two new lawyers charging "billable hours" to the Wael Al-Mazeedi "litigation trough" (more likely than not, paid with the Middle East investors "dividends" ).

We're sure that attorneys that find themselves in this blog will be pleasantly surprised because, after all, if you are not proud of the client you are representing why would you represent him (her)$

BTW

We've been keeping "tabs" on the WilmerHale junior lawyers (e.g. Gregory Reiser, Joshua D. Jacobson, Lisa Amatangel, etc.) that supported the Al-Mazeedi litigation.  Guess what?  Once they couldn't bill any more hours to Al-Mazeedi's companies (either because Wilmer lost or withdrew) they got the "boot" from WilmerHale.  You can check this by simply going to the WilmerHale website and typing their names in the employee directory - they don't "exist" anymore.  We have other names that we'll add to the list later.

Perhaps we should put together a "lawyers" wall of f[sh]ame with the picture and name of every lawyer that ever worked for Al-Mazeedi, either as in-house counsel or external counsel.  Maybe we should also come up with a wall-of-fame for all the accountants, human resources, and information technology personnel that have helped WAM achieve all his "greatness" and engender/support all his litigation... Bet it would be a VERY long set of lists...

Notice: NOT ONE MUSLIM Lawyer in the Al-Mazeedi group.

That both look like jokers. I guess they only care about $$$ and themselves.

I hope they read this blog so they can see their client and why WilmerHale dumped him.

I wonder if Almazeedi is a practicing Muslim. He is supposed to the the manager of the Dubai Islamic Banks funds under Sharia law. Doesn't that mean that the Koran is the ultimate guide for Almazeedi in this investment?
