Landmark
3 : an event or development that marks a turning point or a stage
so, how has this "landmark event" changed the world???
Most, if not all, of the "press releases" associated with this earth-shattering event ("game-changing" in Wael's own parlance) came from QGEN and Wael Al-Mazeedi himself. If you search through the "news" for all the other consortium participants this was a NON-EVENT for them. One can only speculate how they came to the conclusion that they needed to do anything with Wael to advance their business interests.
"The founding members of the consortium are QGEN of the USA, FLABEG Group and Schlaich Bergermann und Partner Sohne GmbH, both of Germany and JGC Corporation of Japan – all known as innovators in their respective specialties in the energy industry."
So what is the result of all the activities by these "innovators in their respective specialties in the energy industry."
Zero, null, nothing.
August 10, 20011 will mark one year since QGEN (Wael) decided to bombard the world with news of his illusory accomplishments (yet again). August 10, 2011 will also "show" that absolutely NOTHING has been accomplished by QGEN or the Hybrid Energy Consortium since the "landmark event" announcement.
Wael needs to keep making announcements and press releases regarding his efforts to avert "planetary collapse" (phrasing borrowed from his own FAKE blogs). We're curious as to what he'll announce next....
[Note: actually, we're not curious at all. It has all become tremendously predictable. Wael will keep using the BTU Power Company investors' money to fund anything he wants to do or say... like, beaming power from the sun down to earth... "conceived" controlled and regulated by Wael Al-Mazeedi.]
He justifies this kind of spending in the following way (from his btupower.com website):
"Despite a calculated campaign of U.S. litigation and disinformation by these various defendants, the perpetrators have failed to disrupt our mission to be a careful steward of our investors' investments in global energy assets."

Maybe "Zero, null, nothing." is the new tag line. Wait that is the current one?
