Wael Al-Mazeedi's pleading asking US Federal Court to seal Betancourt's Affidavit (drafted by his former "enforcers" WilmeHale). Two years after its filing it's clear why he doesn't want anybody's voice to be heard except HIS (actually, he doesn't want anybody to hear his voice either if it's under QUESTIONING).

BTU Ventures, Inc. and BTU Industries Holdings file Emergency Motion to Seal Affidavit

Wael Al-Mazeedi's alarmist court filings (claiming that everybody on his "enemies" list is conspiring and plotting all kinds of nefarious acts against him) are seen in the "proper light" now that much more is known about him.

This becomes particularly evident given the happenings surrounding his upcoming deposition (see post immediately below).  We'll post a brief analysis and a link to the document shortly.  However, the closing line in Al-Mazeedi's filing (referring to Betancourt's Affidavit), sums up his view of the world.
"... a defendant who has admitted outrageous wrongdoing but who remains determined to cause as much damage to BTU as possible before his final defeat."
[Note:  BTU Ventures and BTU Industries Holdings seem to have recently "just disappeared" on their own.  Only Al-Mazeedi (together with Oishi) could make that happen.  Also, Betancourt had not filed his answer and counterclaims as of June 2009.]

It's all a game of money and lawyers to him.  He apparently assumed he could make the entire world "see" a picture that would conform to his own perception of himself (he's still going at it, just check out all the paid fake blog posts reporting "news" from half a decade ago praising his business genius).  With his armada of lawyers and a never-ending supply of money (that comes from ????) Al-Mazeedi figured he would shut everybody up (litigate them to "death") while extolling his putative virtues.

Examples of fake "news" blog posts:
"With 25 years of experience in the energy field, there is no doubt that Wael Al-Mazeedi is a certified expert in this industry. This is evident with the tremendous success of the company he founded, which is the BTU Group. When he first developed BTU, he didn’t realize that it would turn out to be a company that is worth over a billion dollars."

"... the head of one of the largest energy-centric venture capital firms in the world, BTU Group Chairman and CEO Wael Al-Mazeedi."

There's a "ton" of similar fake blogs all over the internet.  We are not claiming to have perfect grammar, structure and spelling on this blog.  However, we just have to say that the fake blogs are all poorly written and nonsensical.

I imagine there must be others that are breathing a sigh of relief when documents get sealed. Whatever Almazeedi did was not done in a vacuum. Other hands had to help.

Nothing is "SEALED". If it is on video deposition, it can be copied. It will become a pdf docuement for both parties to read the final transcript.

I'll be watching with others in the courtrooms that all of this will be public. I will be sitting with 3 news crews to make sure BTU get all the PUBLIC news about

and many more.

He doesn't get it as long as this blog is online and the internet stays running, he cannot lose his shadow. The past is the past, but the past is the present!

When I worked for BTU I used to get paychecks from BTU Ventures. Then I started to get paychecks from BTU Industries Holdings USA. If these companies are gone is nobody working for them? All the people that work for WAM work for QGEN now?

READ THIS: It speaks for itself!

http://finance.yahoo.com/career-work/article/113032/little-house-secrets-great-plains-reuters

Here are a few quotes:

"A corporation is a legal person created by state statute that can be used as a fall guy, a servant, a good friend or a decoy," the company's website boasts. "A person you control... yet cannot be held accountable for its actions. Imagine the possibilities!"

"Yet on U.S. soil, similar activity is perfectly legal. The incorporation industry, overseen by officials in the 50 states, has few rules. Convicted felons can operate firms which create companies, and buy them with no background checks."

"Treasury and state banking regulators say banks have flagged billions of dollars in suspicious transactions involving U.S. shell companies in recent years."

"The loopholes in U.S. disclosure of bank-account and shell-company ownership have drawn fire.

The U.S. was declared "non-compliant" in four out of 40 categories monitored by the Financial Action Task Force, an international group fighting money laundering and terrorism finance, in a 2006 evaluation report, its most recent. Two of those ratings relate to scant information collected on the owners of corporations. The task force named Wyoming, Nevada and Delaware as secrecy havens. Only three states - Alaska, Arizona and Montana - require regular disclosure of corporate shareholders in some form, according to the 2009 report by the National Association of Secretaries of State."

"Shell companies remain a headache for law-enforcement authorities. Officials say court-ordered subpoenas served on incorporators of shell and shelf corporations generally do deliver the names of the real owners hiding behind nominees. But if the owners are not U.S. citizens or companies, the investigation often hits a dead-end, they say."

Unless they state legal complaints in the United States, these shell companies and their people are subject to US Laws.

I Like the "Since the September 11 attacks in 2001, the U.S. has been calling forcefully for greater transparency in global transactions, to lift the veil on shadowy money flows"

Great line.

Please ask Al-Mazeedi from that first link you posted.

"Wael Al-Mazeedi has won several awards for his contributions in the energy industry along with his achievements for being a successful entrepreneur."

He won a award that his Laywers/his accounting firm were judges.

Question? "WON" or "Purchased" serveral awards.
NEWs? or PAID Bloggers to make it up? The fact is that PAID BLOGGERS with no merit, no knowledge.

Those bloggers are like the article above "Shell Bloggers".

Gotta LOVE THE INTERNET!..
