Happy as a clam after "winning" the 2006 ERNST & YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR AWARD (New England region - energy category - June 15, 2006). Around the time that, according to the IFIC Complaint, Meiya Power Company:
"...Fund was in financial distress. The one-year loan time-period permitted by Desdner was about to expire. Al-Mazeedi's planned third round of equity fund raising, with migration from prior BTU groups' funds, was unsuccessful." - April 2006 (Paragraph 7)
"...Dresdner noticed an event of default on August 31, 2006..." (Paragraph 8)
"By the early fall of 2006, the financial investment of all the investors in the Fund, including that of Plaintiffs, was completely exposed to ruin by virtue of Al-Mazeedi's operational control of the Fund." (Paragraph 9)

From the MIT bio you can add Managing Partner to the titles Wael holds.
When did BTU Industries get legal license in MA?
BTU Industries Holdings (USA) Inc. was registered to do business in MA (issued a Foreign Corporation Certificate of Registration) on 26 Sep 2007.
I'm new here. I like to know why Mr. Al-Mazeedi is going after former employees with so many lawyers?
I heard about the MIT thing tomorrow night, I have my ticket.
I did some research on him and found this great blog! I support bloggers' right EFF!
As far and I can tell:
Mr. Al-Mazeedi has NOT invented anything.
Mr. Al-Mazeedi has NO US patents on anything.
Mr. Al-Mazeedi has NO world-wide energy patents.
Mr. Al-Mazeedi is NOT an engineer.
Mr. Al-Mazeedi is NOT a US Citizen.
Mrs. Al-Mazeedi is NOT a US Citizen.
Is BTU Industries and BTU Industries Holdings (USA) Inc. the same company? I don't see why QGEN is a Title Sponsor of this conference and not BTU Power?
I wish you or any of the bloggers here would make ONE Graphic that shows all the companies.
Do you know when fateconsortium.com and MW-Partners.com (appears email only since I can't find any website) were registered to do business in MA? I did a serach on ICANN.org & the internet and found them registered to the same addresses as BTU Ventures, whatever that company is either.
A co-worker said they had worked for fateconsortium but it appears the company doesn't exits. Their website is just some website like E.T. and M&Ms is all I think of when I visit the site.
I work walking distance from the address from their site and walked into the building to ask about fateconsortium and the people didn't even know the company was there or anything.
WilmerHale Offices are located there.
It will be an interesting Saturday night and I hope one of the bloggers come.
