Wael Al-Mazeedi has created a morass of companies and "mobilized" many employees, contractors, lawyers, etc.that will stand with him until "the end of time or until the money runs out or he just grows weary of them"
He, along with Mitsue Oishi (Hayat is FROZEN OUT although he owns 44% of everything) are the only people in this planet that can make any substantive decisions with regards to BTU Ventures, BTU Power Company, BTU Holdings Company, BTU Power Management, BTU Industries Ltd, BTU Industries Holdings USA Inc, QGEN Ltd, QGEN (USA) Inc, FATE Consortium, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of companies they've set up primarily in tax havens (e.g. Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Monaco - THE BANK ACCOUNTS ARE LOCATED HERE, etc)
In any event, rather than bore everybody going through the litany of companies structured and formed by WilmerHale (US) and Maples and Calder (Cayman Islands - primarily Mr. Simon Firth) we are just going to cut to the chase regarding the status regarding the Hayat - Almazeedi - BTU Holdings Company litigation.

"Going Out Of Business" - Wael Almazeedi's unexplored "Track Record"
BTU Holdings is in liquidation. Everything is on some type of holding pattern until the liquidation is accomplished. We, at this blog, have always suspected that Mr. Almazeedi initiated this process (liquidation) not out of economic necessity. It's pretty well established by now that BTU Holdings has been "broke", Mr. Almazeedi's own words, since 2005. Almazeedi (Al Mazeedi) would only employ this option if it provided him (and Mitsue) with some sort of advantage in the litigation.
This brings us to Wael Almazeedi's Cayman Islands counsel. They have made everything HAPPEN for WAEL, MITSUE, and who knows who else (Bernie M, Alan S???.... Bottom Line, Maples and Calder.
Someone contributing to this blog has met Mr. Firth personally and dealt with him regarding "business" issues. The recollection of this contributor is that Mr. Firth, first and foremost, wanted to find ways to please WAEL and Mitsue... to Make Wael Al-Mazeedi and Mitsue Oishi PERSONALLY happy. Mr. Firth didn't appear to have any other exceptional qualities other than his WILL to please$$$:
Almazeedi and Oishi have been able to entangle many people in their litigious spiderwebs. Mr. Firth (Maples and Calder) as well as numerous attorneys at WilmerHale (Dimitri Racklin helped Wael structure the sale of MPC and the $8 million dollar bonus Wael paid himself) as well as FoleyHoag have been absolutely vital in helping Wael and Mitsue continue representing and advocating their facade of companies and accomplishments.

Why some many lawyers for a CEO with too many companies to managed. Wait they don't own anything? Only Mr. Hayat, whom brought in ALL the investors is STILL FROZEN out? He will have his day in court soon.
Any idea on the Hayat case? When is it heading to court?
Is Wael being followed? I've seen the same cars in the office parking lot with 2 people in it. I can't tell him, so I posted it here since he reads it all day.
